20-24 lamb ribs (2kg)
375mL Tomato sauce (Australian made)
125mL Maple syrup
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 cloves of Australian grown garlic
Bake the ribs in moderate oven for 30-45min until the fat is crispy on the outside and baked off (as pictured). Allow to cool and cut off any remaining excess fat. Mix all sauce ingredients together and baste ribs then cover. About an hour before serving cook in oven or BBQ at 170 degrees for 1hr, basting again half an hour into cook time. Enjoy as a finger food as a nibbly or on a bed of rice and locally grown steamed vegies.
Serves 4-6 people as a full meal or 12 people as a nibbly.
